Sen Family: The origine of Sen family who reside at Madhupur,Piyalsol and Dhabani is from Dey Ganga of North 24 Pargana.More yhan 350 years ago three brother and two sisters had come from there and take three different places for their residence at Dhabani,Piyalsol and Madhupuras an order of elder ,middle and younger brother respectively, it is colloquial. Sen family Durga worship had been started under the supervision of family inheritor elder brother at Madhupur near about 295 years ago. Only Ghose family Durgapuja was in vogue there. Some of them say there was

only Ghose family Durgapuja in the village Madhupur and all the Hindu families of this locality and near village participate and share their enjoyment following this deity of Ghose Durga temple as an united manner. Once in the time of Lafar Sen a few female members of Sen family faced problem going to the temple place of the deity of the Goddess Durga during the worship time.Next year there were arranged Durga worship separately in the name of Sen Family Durgapuja , approximate 100 yards away from main Ghose Durga temple.

Most probably the worship begin

in the time of Lafar Sen father of Hem Chandra Sen,it was not continued and stopped due to unnatural cause .Again the worship was started under the supervision of Radhamohon Sen, grandfather of Madanmohan Sen and his ancestor Gobinda Sen. Gobinda Sen had no son, so the worship was imposed upon legal heir of Kalipada Sen, father of Bibhutibhusan Sen and their ancestor Rabindranath Sen and all. In present all Sen families of three village Dhabani,Piyalsol and Madhupur organized this Sen family the Deity of the Goddess Durga worship at the village Madhupur every year.All provide their fund to accomplish it jointly. They have a few land and ponds in the name of Durga. It is the main source of their puja fund.

It is well known the Sen family

who had come from Dey Ganga village of North 24 Pargana district , although settled in different places for their residence ,all the social works were done by their union ship. Kalipuja is done with well being at Dhabani jointly by three village’s Sen family. Similarly ,Manasapuja at Piyalsole and Durgapuja at Madhupur by their association.

Rituals: They follow the time table of the king place of Patharmohra. Raising and immersion of Nabapatrica (Incarnation of the deity of the Goddess Durga) is done in the near pond every year in between Saptami (seventh day of lunar fortnight) and Dashami (10^th day of lunar fortnight). Flying sugarcane is immolated here on the day of Mahastami (the eighth day of lunar fortnight). No he-goat is immolated here.

Bangshi Ghatak is the main priest in this temple present time after the next hierarchy .
